The Basics: 80/20 Split with a $16,000 Cap

Every agent at eXp starts on an 80/20 split. That means:

  • 80% of your commission goes to you
  • 20% goes to eXp Realty (until you cap)

Once you’ve paid in $16,000 to the company (your “cap”), you move to 100% commission for the rest of your anniversary year. No royalty fees. No franchise fees. No extra office splits.
